The presentation of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class with open body (A238) took place in March 2017 at the Geneva Motor Show. The E-Class Cabriolet is based on the E-Class Coupe, keeping the same dimensions and wheelbase. Compared to its predecessor, the interior of the new E-Class Cabriolet is noticeably larger - legroom alone has increased by 47 mm. Just like the S-Class Cabriolet, the younger model received a folding soft-top roof. The main place in the interior of the new Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet is occupied by a dual digital dashboard, consisting of two displays, each with a diagonal of 12.3 inches, which combines both the dashboard and multimedia system. As well as other representatives of the next generation E-Class, the Cabriolet received a lot of advanced electronics, such as Multibeam LED headlights, active multicontour seats with massage function and dynamic side support, projection display, multifunctional telephony, smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and other equipment.
